Rotary MeetingsCome and enjoy the weekly Malvern Rotary Meetings held every Wednesday lunchtime at the beautiful Georgio’s Restaurant

Come along to our weekly Rotary meetings; enjoy fellowship and a range of interesting speakers.

Our Club meets in the downstairs area at Georgios Restaurant at the corner of Glenferrie Road and High Street in Malvern every Wednesdays.

Rotary Meetings commence at 1pm and finish at 2pm sharp. For a low cost of $25.00 Georgios provide a wonderful main course and coffee.

Prospective members can attend their first Rotary  meeting for no cost. At Malvern Rotary you really can try before you buy!

Can’t afford the time? Membership of Rotary requires attendance at only 55% of weekly meetings.

The reality is that most members use attendance at weekly Rotarymeetings as an enjoyable break from the demands of running their business and as a result easily exceed the minimum attendance requirement. They enjoy the opportunity to network, be updated about Rotary projects and learn from the fantastic weekly speakers who talk on a broad range of topics.

However to make it easy you can achieve your attendance requirements, you can attend Rotary meetings at any Club in Australia or overseas! For those who travel regularly, this provides a fantastic opportunity to extend your range of contacts and networks.

Rotary provides the opportunity to meet people from many varied backgrounds who share the same values of giving back to the less fortunate in the world community.

The Rotary Club of Malvern is not a boys Club! Female members make up 40% of our membership. They are very active in the Club with both our current President and President Elect being female!

The Rotary Meetings take on the following:

1pm – The President calls the Rotary meeting to order

1pm – 1.20pm – the meal is served while members enjoy fellowship

1.20pm – Updates on Rotary Projects

1.25pm – The Club Sergeant is introduced. This is a fun session where members are fined for their “sins” or transgressions of the past week.

1.30pm – The Guest Speaker is introduced. Speakers cover a broad range of areas including;

  • The Environment
  • Business related topics
  • People related topics
  • Self Development
  • Community related topics
  • Rotary Projects – both domestic and international

2pm – The President closes the Rotary meeting.

While being a member of Rotary is about helping the less fortunate in the Community, it is also about networking, relationships and at the Malvern Club – Fun!

Come along and experience one of our weekly Rotary meetings. You will be welcome!
