The Rotary Club of Malvern offers opportunities to young budding Scientists.

There are two major Science School programs  -

• The National Youth Science Forum
• A  two  week program
• Year 11 students thinking of pursuing a career in science and technology
• Residential, in Canberra in January each year.
• An additional forum now held in Perth
• Allows our district to nominate 8 additional students
• District 9800 nominations

In past years our district has sent approximately 16 students.
Many of these students come home with a new insight into their chosen career options.

• The Siemens Science Experience
• 2-3 day program
• Year 9 students interested in science
• Held in Melbourne at participating Universities
• No selection process, endorsement from local Rotary Club needed for enrolment.

The Rotary Club of Malvern has been involved in both of these programs for many years, having given the opportunity to many very worthy young students, who have returned to our Club and told us of their wonderful & enlightening experiences.
